Low latency midi merger with midi timing prority
Despite its small size and low price, it is an intelligent MIDI merger.
It has two MIDI IN ports and one MIDI OUT port.
Both midi inputs are opto-isolated.
An indicator lamp lights when midi data is being received.
The Nano merger handles all MIDI message types, including System Exclusive and MIDI Time Code, and clock.
Channel Voice messages are normally transmitted in the order in which they were received.
Midi timing commands have higer priority.
So if Note Data is received at channel 1, and a midi timing message comes in at channel 2, the timing message will be sent to the output as soon as possible, interrupting the note commands from channel 1, ensuring extreme low latency, and minor drift in midi timing.
